An unfamiliar CPU/GPU stays uncertain even if its model number or clock is higher. Generic GHz, VRAM and API requirements are not benchmarks. No detected shortfall is a candidate for further checking, not a compatibility pass. Drivers, architecture, launcher support and other source conditions may still prevent play.
